The goBILDA Hole Pattern

In this club we primarily use the goBILDA build system. Most of the important information is in the video above.

Some notes:

  • On the diagonally lengthened holes next to the center, the "on grid" position is the one closest to the center.

  • 45° and 60° (and consequently 30°) angles are possible when attaching other goBILDA components:

  • Some methods of attaching components involve going "off pattern", where the the holes in the goBILDA pattern no longer line up. This can be useful sometimes if, for example, the space is cramped or it's just the easiest way to attach something, but keep in mind it can be difficult to reinforce the part or otherwise reattach it to the main structure at another location.
